These calcined muscovite tapes are used for the manufacturing of fire-resistant cables when the weight and/or the thickness of the insulation outer mantel of the cable must be reduced.

These phlogopite mica tapes are used for the manufacturing of fire-resistant cables when the thickness of the outer insulation mantel must be reduced or when important friction is applied on the tape during the wrapping.

This mica-free tape is unique in the world. It can pass the integrity test (IEC 60331-21) at 1000/600 V at 830 °C for 180 min with 2 layers and 50% overlapping. For lower tensions (400/250 V), only one layer with 50% overlapping is required to comply with the standard in the same conditions.
